MULTIFIL BV PRIVACY POLICY

1. WHO?

This privacy policy applies to the services of Multifil BV, with registered office at 9700 Oudenaarde, Windmolenstraat 38 and enterprise number BE 0681.919.896, permanently represented by Mr Frank Larue.

Multifil is a wholesaler of reinforcing steel and plastic products for structural and precast construction.

By using Multifil's services, you acknowledge that you have read this privacy policy and consequently accept the collection and processing of your personal data in the manner described herein. This privacy policy describes the operation of the services provided by Multifil, more particularly how Multifil collects, uses, protects and shares data.

We will only use the personal data you provide to us for those services or purposes to which you have given your consent. Multifil complies with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data, and with the Belgian Framework Law dated 30 July 2018. For the performance of its services, Multifil is the data controller.

  • Financial data
  • The company on behalf of which you may be submitting an enquiry
  • Your preferred language of communication with us

We will store your information in our database for the purposes of cooperation, employment or service.

Multifil processes your personal data after the signature of an agreement, quotation, order confirmation or order form, for the purpose of preparing or performing services.

In addition, Multifil may invoke a legitimate interest in certain circumstances.

We may also retain these data to fulfil our legal obligations, to respond to inquiries and resolve any disputes, to satisfy our legitimate interests and to enforce our rights.

8. APPROPRIATE TECHNICAL AND ORGANISATIONAL MEASURES

Multifil has taken appropriate technical and organisational security measures in order to avoid, to the extent possible, the destruction, loss, falsification, modification, unauthorised access or erroneous third-party notification of the personal data collected, as well as any other unauthorised processing of this data.

In this context, Multifil pays particular attention to the security of its computer systems, including strict password management.

We require all of our service providers to have taken appropriate measures to maintain the security of your information. Under no circumstances may Multifil be held liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from any incorrect or unlawful third-party use of your personal data.

Security and management procedures are reviewed regularly in accordance with the latest technological developments. Multifil stores your personal information in its database on a secure server. Access to the database is restricted to authorised persons who are involved in processing the data.

9. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

You have the right to access your personal data free of charge at any time, and to exercise your rights as listed below.

9.1 Right of consultation, rectification and restriction

You are free to decide whether or not to share your personal data with Multifil. In addition, you always have the right to request Multifil to review, rectify, supplement or restrict your personal data.

9.2. Right of removal

You have the right to ask us to remove your personal data from our database. However, this right may be limited because of legal obligations. You acknowledge that if you refuse to disclose or request the removal of personal data, certain services may not be available.

9.3. Right of objection

You have a right to object to the processing of your personal data for serious and legitimate reasons. In addition, you have at all times the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes.

9.4 Right of free data transmission (data portability)

You have the right to obtain the personal data provided by you to Multifil in a structured, common and machine-readable form and/or to have it transferred to other responsible parties.

9.5. Right to withdraw consent

To the extent that processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the further use of your personal data for a specific study. However, this right may be limited because of legal obligations or the need to retain these data in the archives for further scientific research. After validation of your request, your personal information will be removed from Multifil's database.

9.6. Exercise of your rights

You may exercise your rights by contacting Multifil BV either by e-mail at info@multifil.be or by post to Multifil BV, Remparden 1 box 0101, 9700 Oudenaarde. You should always include a copy of an identification document with such a request.

An application may be refused if it is unreasonably repetitive or systematic.

9.7. Automatic decisions and profiling

The processing of your personal data includes no profiling; nor will Multifil subject you to automated decisions.

9.8. Right to lodge a complaint

10. AMENDMENTS
